Baseball Training

Baseball is a sport that contains many explosive, short-burst, power movements throughout the course of a game. For example, fielding a ground ball hit your way, tracking down a fly ball, stealing a base, trying to throw someone out that is trying to steal, tagging from one base to the next, the list goes on and on. Baseball training should be done in the off season to be able to execute these movements in the same capacity.

In order to be powerful in a movement, you have to be able to do that movement with speed. In order to be fast, you have to be strong from the core out or what I like to call explosive. With our baseball training drills, we train the athlete who plays baseball, not the actual baseball player, so that his respective coach has a stronger, faster, more explosive player on their team that can execute, take the coaching, and be able to apply it quickly and with more focus than the other players who don’t partake in off season baseball training. As you can guess and may have seen firsthand, the stronger, faster athletes earn more opportunities to compete.

Training with Donato Sports Performance’s comprehensive off season baseball training program will not only include flexibility training, core training, balance training, plyometrics training, speed training, agility training, resistance training, and sports specific conditioning, your athlete will learn what it means to become a leader on and off the field of competition.

Off-Season - $1,225.00

3-4 workouts per week (depending on experience) for 24-26 weeks leading up to desired season. This is a fully integrated sports performance program which includes: Flexibility Training, Cardiorespiratory Training, Core Training, Balance Training, Plyometrics Training, Speed/Agility/Quickness Training, Multiplanar Resistance Training, and Sports Specific Conditioning.
